Local MC Driver | Full-Time

O.T.A Logistics Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Local MC Driver to join our growing team based in Forrestfield, WA.

This is a full-time opportunity with a professional transport company committed to safety, reliability, and exceptional customer service. You'll be responsible for completing metro and deliveries and pick-ups throughout the Perth metropolitan area and surrounding regions while representing our company with professionalism and care.

As a Local MC Driver, you will:

• Complete local metro and regional deliveries and collections.

• Undertake occasional short-distance overnight trips when operational requirements arise.

• Safely operate Multi Combination (MC) vehicles.

• Conduct daily pre-start, pre-trip, and post-trip vehicle inspections.

• Ensure loads are restrained and transported safely.

• Comply with all road transport legislation, fatigue management requirements, and company policies.

• Complete delivery paperwork, pre-start checklists, and safety documentation accurately.

• Maintain records of driving hours, vehicle condition, and deliveries.

• Provide outstanding customer service at delivery and collection points.

• Work closely with our operations team to ensure efficient freight movements.

• Carry out minor truck maintenance when required.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current Australian MC Licence.

• Minimum 3 years' experience operating MC vehicles.

• Excellent driving record.

• Strong knowledge of road transport regulations and safe driving practices.

• Current Commercial Driver Medical.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Commitment to safety, reliability, and on-time performance.

• Ability and willingness to complete pre-start inspections, safety documentation, and delivery paperwork.

• Ability and willingness to carry out minor truck maintenance.

Australian Citizenship is required for this position.

• Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical, including a laboratory Drug & Alcohol screen.

• Dangerous Goods (DG) Licence.
