Pre-delivery Motor Vehicle Accessory Fitter

Quayside Motors is expanding and seeking an energetic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pre-Delivery Motor Vehicle Accessory Fitter. This role is crucial for ensuring that new vehicles are prepared to the highest standard before delivery.

Previous experience in the automotive industry is desirable but not essential. Experience in a similar role or industry is a plus. Being skilled with hands-on work and having a practical approach is important for success in this role.

Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:06 PM, Monday to Friday (No Weekends!)

The role: As a Pre-Delivery Motor Vehicle Accessory Fitter, your key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring all required accessories are fitted to vehicles before delivery: One of the key tasks is to ensure all accessories are installed according to specifications.
• Completing a checklist to prepare new cars for delivery.
• Performing final checks to ensure all accessories are fitted correctly.
• Fitting accessories such as tow bars, nudge bars, protection accessories, and alloy trays.

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow processes precisely within tight timeframes.
• Practical, hands-on skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to read, complete, and manage job sheets, and book cars in efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the automotive industry is desirable but not essential.
• Experience with vehicle accessories or similar industry is a plus.
• Valid Australian manual driver's license with a clean driving record.
