Embrace Community Care is seeking a motivated, caring and reliable person to join our team as a Team Leader in the Picton NSW.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting people with disability and is looking to develop their leadership and coordination skills within a supportive community services environment.

About The Role

As a Team Leader, you will help coordinate the day-to-day operations of our services and support our Support Workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Supporting and guiding Support WorkersAssisting with day-to-day service coordinationCommunicating effectively with participants, families and staffHelping ensure supports are delivered according to participant needs and preferencesSupporting staff with day-to-day questions and concernsMaintaining accurate records, documentation and shift informationPromoting a positive, respectful and inclusive environmentFollowing Embrace Community Care policies, procedures and NDIS requirementsIdentifying and escalating concerns, incidents and issues to management when requiredSupporting effective communication between staff, participants and managementHelping maintain a safe and supportive environment for participants and staff

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Caring, reliable and responsibleA confident and effective communicatorOrganised and able to manage multiple tasksComfortable working with people with disability and their support teamsWilling to learn and develop leadership skillsPassionate about supporting people with disabilityRespectful of participant choice, dignity, rights and independenceAble to work independently and take initiative when requiredProfessional and committed to providing high-quality support
