Assistant Storeperson

Powerwest is offering an opportunity to work with its family-owned power generation operations, assisting the Asset Manager/Procurement Specialist maintain the parts store.  You will be responsible for checking inwards and outwards movements of stores and parts, maintaining appropriate stock levels, undertaking data entry, and ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the store function.

We are looking for a self-starter with stores experience, initiative, a well organised self starter and with well developed computer skills using MS Office and a forklift ticket. Preference given to applicants with experience using MEX although not essential.

The position is based in Maddington and free onsite parking is available.

The position would suit a person who has mechanical / electrical store experience / aptitude who has had experience arranging transport of goods to site, managing component stock for the mechanical/electrical workshop, inputting data and arranging site access for our field staff.  This is a full time position working a 35 hour week 0800-1530 Monday to Friday in winter and 0700-1430 in summer.
