We require a Recruitment Assistant to bolster the critical function of recruitment, across the business. The ECG Engineering team is primarily tertiary qualified Electrical Engineers, with HR supporting a white collar workforce and workload. A very professional technical project delivery environment.

Working with me, the Recruitment Manager, the Recruitment Assistant is a generalist role where you are able to build on your communication skills on the phone and written communication, helping ECG to find the best engineering talent globally.



Key to your success will be your communication skills, particularly on the phone, to ensure that ECG hire the right personnel, and that the process is seamless.

ECG Engineering are leaders in the Electrical Engineering space, delivering design and project delivery services to the Mining, Utilities, Materials Handling and Industrial sectors with extensive and proven capabilities in Australia, and around the world.

With offices in Perth, Brisbane, Toronto, Manila & Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania & Cape Town, ECG have the capability to design and deliver on complex projects, from early study work to commissioning and handover, drawing on the expertise of senior ECG personnel who have worked together for 30 + years.

• Work directly with the Recruitment Manager and key personnel in recruitment related tasks
• Assist in the end-to end recruitment process including advertising, screening, interviewing and reference checking
• Ensure recruitment database is accurate and up to date

• A confident, outgoing personality, and the ability to motivate and persuade by phone, face to face, and finally in written communication
• Strong communication skills (oral and written) and the confidence to work with all business levels
• 6 – 36 months’ experience in a generalist Recruitment Administration / HR Advisor capacity
• Ideally experience within the mining / construction, resources sector
• Tertiary Qualifications in Marketing / Human Resources or a related field an advantage but not essential
• Ability to remain positive and upbeat while working to deadlines and under pressure
• Microsoft Office skills (Excel and Word) and ideally experience with HR information systems and tools
• Positivity; work should be fun
• Initiative, ownership, integrity and confidence
