Signage Graphic Designer

About the role

We're looking for an experienced Signage Designer to join us full-time on-site in Molendinar. This is a production-focused design role — you'll be taking client briefs from concept through to print-ready artwork, managing proofs, and keeping jobs moving through our production workflow. You'll also be the first point of contact for a number of our repeat clients — handling their briefs, answering questions, and managing their jobs through from order to approval. You don't need to be a salesperson, but you do need to be confident, professional, and comfortable building relationships with clients over the phone and in person. This is a hands-on role in a real production environment. You'll work closely with our production coordinator and owner to keep turnarounds tight and quality high.

Key responsibilities

• Producing print-ready artwork for a wide range of custom signage products

• Setting up files to production specifications (dimensions, scaling, bleed, colour profiles, material requirements, cut lines etc)

• Managing artwork proofs and client revisions through to approval

• Handling incoming briefs from repeat clients — taking the order, producing the artwork, and managing the job through to sign-off

• Maintaining and building our template library for repeat products

• Liaising with the production team to ensure artwork is production-ready before print

About you

• Minimum 2–3 years experience in a signage, print, or wide-format production environment

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and/or Flexi Design

• Solid understanding of print-ready file setup — dimensions, bleed, CMYK colour profiles, resolution, vector artwork

• Experience producing vehicle wrap artwork and working with vehicle templates

• Ability to work independently and manage your own job queue without close supervision

• Confident and professional communicator — comfortable speaking with clients on the phone and in person

• Experience with HP wide-format printers or similar

• Experience with designs that call for laser and router cutting

• Vehicle wrap installation knowledge (understanding how artwork translates to the vehicle)

• Knowledge of signage installation methods

Benefits

• $68,000 - $75,000 + superannuation (depending on experience)
