Estimator Supervisor

The Opportunity: 

We are looking for an experienced, reliable and motivated Supervisor with a proven track record and ability to supervise telecommunication projects in a construction environment. Oversee field teams and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. A motor vehicle will be supplied as a Tool of Trade for business operational use only. Travel throughout New South Wales may be required. 

The Company: 

Mirait Technologies Australia is a leader in the Telecommunications and Energy infrastructure construction and maintenance space. With a focus on delivering superior outcomes to our customers, we are looking for an experienced Estimator Supervisor to join our team.

The Role: 

Reporting to the Senior Supervsior, you will be responsible for site supervision, scoping and estimating where required, coordinating site construction activities, supervising sub-contractors to successfully complete assigned work safely, on schedule, within budget, and as per contractual requirements. 

In this role you will: 

• Preparing project scopes, estimates and quote submissions from drawings, specifications and site information. 

• Completing as-built documentation, plans, variations, claims and associated project records. 

• Supervising field teams and subcontractors to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and to required standards. 

• Planning and coordinating labour, materials, plant, equipment and scheduled works. 

• Monitoring progress, costs and deadlines, resolving issues early to minimise delays and rework. 

• Attending sites across NSW as required to assess works and provide practical onsite solutions. 

You: 

To be considered for this opportunity you will require: 

• Extensive knowledge of the Telstra network and its requirements. 

• Demonstrated experience in scoping, estimating and supervising contractors or field teams. 

• Strong computer skills, including experience preparing as-builts, plans, variations, claims and project documentation. 

• Clear communication, coordination and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to safety. 

• Relevant industry accreditations and a current White Card, with Telstra copper cable  experience highly regarded.
