About the role
About the role
You will be an excellent communicator, compassionate, professional and responsible. The role calls for a high level of multi-tasking coupled with strong receptionist skills such as time management, and the ability to prioritise duties. To be successful in this role you should demonstrate flexibility and understand the importance of maintaining strict confidentiality.
Key responsibilities
Greeting patients in a friendly and caring manner
Answering phones/emails promptly with the ability to prioritise appropriate tasks
Scheduling patient appointments
Billing and processing of payments
Liaising with doctors and nurses
Building an excellent working relationship with other staff and doctors
Maintaining an organised work space
Triaging patients
About you
Experience in reception or customer service will be viewed favourably but not essential for the right candidates as full training and ongoing support will be supplied
About us
We are a busy General Practice clinic in Wantirna who have been providing quality care to the community for more than 30 years. We are looking to further expand our staff and find the right person to join our friendly and supportive team.
Hours
Monday 7:45am to 1pm
Thursday 1pm to 5pm
With the possibility of additional hours in the future.
Flexibility to cover some sick or annual leave would also be appreciated.
