Location: Melbourne, VIC | Reports to: Head of Finance | Industry: Engineering & Manufacturing
Hours: Part-time, approx. 20–25 hours per week across 5 days

About the role

We are looking for a strong Accounts / Admin All-Rounder to join our finance team in a varied part-time role, with the potential for growth within the Group. The primary focus of the role is finance and accounting, including Accounts Payable, reconciliations, month-end support, project costing and general accounting administration. We are looking for someone who wants to develop their accounting skills, take on greater responsibility and build a long-term career within the business.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and purchase orders.

• Reconcile supplier statements and credit cards.

• Maintain accurate financial records.

• Assist with month-end reconciliations, reporting and project costing.

• Provide backup support across the Accounts & Administration team.

• Assist with ERP implementation and process improvements.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.

• Other duties as required.

About you

• Technically strong in accounting, with Accounts Payable or Accounts / Finance All-Rounder experience.

• Highly organised, accurate and detail-oriented.

• Proactive, energetic and willing to take initiative.

• A good communicator who can work independently and as part of a team.

• Able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

• Competent in Excel; Greentree / MYOB experience preferred.

• Keen to learn, develop and take on greater responsibility.

• Experience in a manufacturing, engineering or privately owned Australian business is desirable.

• Interested in developing your career and exploring opportunities to grow into other roles within the business or Group.
