At TAFE NSW, you will discover a diverse, dynamic, and collaborative environment, where you can innovate, create value, and do meaningful work.
We provide you with tools and ongoing training and professional development, health and wellbeing programs, and a variety of flexible working options.
About the role
We are seeking exceptional educators to inspire and shape the next generation of Landscape Construction professionals. This is an opportunity to bring your industry expertise to life, guiding students as they develop practical skills, achieve nationally recognised qualifications, and progress toward rewarding careers across the landscape construction, horticulture, parks and gardens, civil landscaping, outdoor infrastructure, and environmental management sectors.
You will apply current, industry-aligned knowledge to design and deliver engaging, high-quality learning experiences that reflect contemporary landscaping practices, construction techniques, sustainable landscape solutions, and industry best practice. You will deliver training across a range of environments, including face-to-face classroom settings, practical workshop environments, simulated and workplace-based contexts, and online, ensuring students develop the technical and practical capabilities required to succeed in a diverse and growing industry.
In this hands-on and evolving field, you will play a critical role in developing construction, planning, problem-solving, and project delivery skills in your learners while fostering a strong understanding of landscape design implementation, hardscape and softscape installation, site preparation, and workplace safety practices. We are looking for educators who combine extensive industry expertise with a passion for teaching excellence. In return, you'll be supported to thrive in a collaborative environment that values industry currency, innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
Please note: that this role may require availability to teach evening classes from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Monday and Tuesday.
