About The Role

Bring your landscape construction experience into the classroom, workshop and workplace.

As a Teacher within our Landscape Construction and Food & Fibre programs, you will deliver high-quality vocational education and competency-based assessment to apprentices and students across a range of practical and theoretical learning environments. You will help students develop industry-relevant skills while ensuring learning outcomes align with current industry standards and workforce demands.

Key Responsibilities Include

Delivering engaging training and assessment to apprenticeship studentsSupporting learners through practical, workplace-based and classroom trainingAssessing student competency and maintaining accurate assessment recordsContributing to learning resources, program development and continuous improvementMaintaining strong industry relationships to ensure training remains current and relevantEnsuring compliance with national VET standards and organisational requirements

We Are Excited About You Because You Have

Industry experience in Landscape Construction and landscapingCertificate III in Landscaping, Landscape Construction, Construction or a higher relevant qualificationCurrent industry knowledge and demonstrated vocational currencyAUSCHEM certification or a willingness to obtain itA current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116/TAE40122)Experience operating plant and equipment such as skid steers and excavators will be highly regarded

Desirable Qualifications Include

Certificate III in Landscape Construction AHC30921Certificate III in Parks and Gardens AHC31024Agricultural Chemical Skill Set (AHCSS00074) or Hold the units AHCCHM304 and AHCCHM307
