About the role
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of Queensland students as a school-based Mental Health Clinician.
In this permanent part-time role, you’ll use your social work expertise to provide compassionate counselling, therapy, advocacy and wellbeing support to students and families, helping young people feel safe, connected and empowered to thrive. You’ll work collaboratively with school communities and allied health professionals, coordinating services and supports that respond to the unique needs of each student. This position is being offered in a Permanent Part-Time capacity (0.80FTE), 58 hours per fortnight.

Your opportunity:
As part of the Student Wellbeing Workforce, we aim to ensure every Queensland state school student has access to a wellbeing professional at school. The focus of the role is to provide support for students with mild to moderate mental health concerns. Wellbeing professionals employed through the Student Wellbeing Workforce work as part of schools' established student support teams to enhance the wellbeing and mental health support available to students.
