Senior Butcher

We are a fast-growing paddock-to-plate beef brand delivering high-quality, grass-fed beef directly from our farm to customers across Queensland and Northern NSW.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Butcher to join our established butchery operation located within 35 minutes of Toowoomba CBD.

This is a busy production-focused role working with whole bodies of beef — no carton meat, shopping centre environment or sales targets.

Role Summary:
We are looking for a skilled butcher with strong experience breaking whole bodies and producing high-quality retail-ready beef cuts.

You’ll work in a fast-paced production environment and take a senior role within the butchery, helping manage the team, workflow and day-to-day production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Break down whole bodies of beef into retail-ready cuts.

• Maintain a high standard of cutting, presentation and consistency.

• Help manage production workflow and meet weekly processing targets.

• Lead and work alongside the butchery team.

• Ensure food safety, hygiene and quality standards are maintained.

• Work directly with our team to meet production requirements.

• Maintain an efficient, organised butchery environment.

Requirements:

• Qualified butcher with strong hands-on experience.

• Experience breaking whole bodies is essential.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a busy production environment.

• Good knowledge of food safety requirements.

• Pride in your workmanship and producing a quality product.

• Reliable, practical and willing to get in and work alongside the team.

• Passion for the paddock-to-plate concept.
