About the role:
Amongst other day-to-day tasks, your focus will be working to safeguard the company by ensuring we are compliant with legislation relative to recruitment undertakings and making recommendations for company recruitment process improvement.
Key responsibilities:
Complete various HR administration tasks including but not limited to updating registers, filing, minute meetings, preparation of presentations as required
Identify any areas of HR non-compliance and escalate to the Human Resources Manager
Assist with the preparation of Human Resources reports as required
Ensure documentation provided to the Human Resources Manager for approval is accurate, timely and in line with legislation, policies, procedures, and standards
Promote workplace health and safety in the workplace in line with Company policies, procedures and standards
Promote and contribute positively to an environment free from harassment, bullying and discrimination in line with Company policies, procedures, and standards
Familiarise and comply with all legislation, regulations, Company policies, procedures and standards (and any amendments which may be made from time to time) applicable to your position
Contribute to recruitment tasks related to the Nauru Regional Processing Centre Contract
Contribute to the achievement of Company recruitment KPI targets
Key requirements:
Work with the Human Resources Manager to deliver agreed projects as and when required
Assist with the coordination of the Employee Recognition process ensuring your centre manage the nomination process and Award ceremonies in an appropriate and timely manner
Ensure all recruitment activities undertaken are in line with company policy and provide accurate regular information to candidates to ensure the best candidate experience
Prepare and process Change of Employment Condition Forms for new employees and adjustments to an employee’s salary/wage
Ensure all Human Resources records are accurate, saved in line with naming conventions and audit ready at all times
Monitor and ensure compliance with all legislation, Company policies, procedures and standards that apply to your role.
In consultation with the Human Resources Manager, achieve financial targets and assist management of the Human Resources budget in a responsible manner and as required by the Contract Manager
Undertake other duties as required of the business or as directed
