Team members work in a collaborative environment with other health professionals to support high-quality clinical outcomes for patients.Role Description The VR General Practitioner role is a full-time, on-site position located in the Greater Melbourne Area. We offer %80 of the billing to the right candidate. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient examinations, ordering and interpreting investigations, prescribing medications, and maintaining accurate clinical records. The role also involves preventive health activities such as immunisations, health assessments, and chronic disease management plans, while collaborating with nursing and allied health staff. The General Practitioner will participate in clinical meetings, contribute to practice quality improvement, and provide health education and counselling to patients and families.Qualifications Strong clinical skills in Medicine and Primary Care, with experience managing a broad range of general practice presentations.Competence in Family Medicine, including continuity of care for individuals and families across different life stages.Ability to collaborate effectively with Nursing staff and other health professionals in a multidisciplinary setting.Commitment to Training and ongoing professional development, including keeping up to date with current clinical guidelines.Relevant medical degree and full registration (or eligibility for registration) with the appropriate medical board in Australia.Demonstrated patient-centered communication skills and the ability to work with diverse communities.Experience in chronic disease management, preventive health, and care planning is highly regarded.Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a busy clinical workload safely and efficiently.
