Payroll Support Adminstrator

 About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Payroll Support Officer to join our team on a part-time basis, supporting the Payroll Manager with end-to-end payroll approx. 600 employees. This position is for an experienced payroll support officer who can be trusted for accuracy, confidentiality, and proven reliability.

Duties include

·       Payroll Processing

·       assistance with weekly pay run as well as a small number of adhoc payments and termination pays

·       Weekly job costing integration

·       compliance reconciliations and submissions — superannuation, Protect (redundancy fund), Leave Plus and child support

 What we're looking for

·       payroll experience, ideally within the construction/electrical industry

·       Strong working knowledge of Micropay (or comparable payroll systems) and confidence troubleshooting independently

·       Experience using Bozzie, Beam, Micropay, and Micronet systems (or comparable systems), along with Excel proficiency - highly desired

·       Solid understanding of EBAs, interpretation, and statutory payroll compliance (super, LSL, Workcover, child support)

·       Problem-solving skills with experience supporting process improvement

·       Excellent attention to detail and a genuine sense of ownership
