Tyre Fitters – Bowen Basin | Ongoing Opportunities

Downunder Group Solutions (DGS) is seeking experienced OTR Mining Tyre Fitters for multiple open-cut mining operations throughout the Bowen Basin.

The Role:

Working on heavy mobile mining equipment, you’ll be responsible for:

• Removing, fitting and repairing large earthmoving tyres and rims
• Conducting tyre inspections, pressure checks and preventative maintenance
• Operating safely within site procedures and company safety standards
• Working closely with maintenance teams to maximise equipment availability
• Completing required maintenance documentation and inspections

About You:

To be successful, you will have:

• Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology (AUR21920)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience fitting earthmoving tyres in a mining environment
• Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical, or the ability to obtain
• BMA Core (highly regarded)
• Experience operating tyre handlers and/or forklifts (highly regarded)
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and quality workmanship

Please note: This position is suited to experienced mining OTR Tyre Fitters only. Applicants with passenger or truck tyre fitting experience only will not be considered.
