About the role

An opportunity for an experienced Cardiac Nurse to join the Cardiology team as the VCOR Data Manager, combining clinical expertise with data management and quality improvement.

You will play a key role in managing data for coronary interventional procedures across RMH Cardiology, ensuring accurate collection, entry and reporting of VCOR data in collaboration with the Cardiology team. You’ll also act as a key contact for staff regarding the VCOR Registry and support the use of site-specific data to inform quality and patient care.

This role offers the opportunity to work within a leading Cardiology service and contribute to the quality and safety of cardiac care across Victoria.

Key Accountabilities

• Collaborate with colleagues across RMH to support high-quality service delivery
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and continuous improvement
• Coordinate data collection activities across Cardiology
• Maintain accurate and timely data in the VCOR Registry
• Act as the first point of contact for staff enquiries relating to the Registry

About You

You are an experienced Cardiac Nurse who brings:

• Current AHPRA registration and recent acute cardiac nursing or Cardiac Catheter Laboratory experience
• Postgraduate qualification in Acute Cardiac Care is highly regarded
• Strong data entry and analysis skills, with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proficiency in EMR and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook
