About the Role

We’re looking for an Associate Account Manager to join our Enterprise & Government team in Canberra.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in customer service, sales support, account coordination or a similar customer-facing role who is ready to take the next step in their career.

You’ll manage the day-to-day relationship with a portfolio of customers, coordinate customer requests and solutions, and work closely with our national Business Development Managers and internal technical teams to deliver a seamless customer experience. You’ll also gain exposure to Federal and State Government customers and larger Enterprise opportunities.

Importantly, this role has been designed as a development pathway. You’ll build your commercial, technical and account management capability with the opportunity to progress towards an Account Manager or Business Development Manager role as your experience grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts as their primary day-to-day contact
• Build strong customer relationships through regular communication and account engagement
• Prepare quotations and coordinate customer orders through to delivery and activation
• Proactively identify opportunities for renewals, service expansion and account growth
• Work closely with internal technical, provisioning, operations and support teams to deliver customer outcomes
• Support customer onboarding and adoption of Pivotel platforms including Tracertrak and Pulsar
• Provide responsive and professional support to selected Enterprise and Government customers
• Assist Business Development Managers with proposals, quotations, demonstrations and larger strategic opportunities
• Maintain accurate customer, opportunity and activity information within CRM systems
• Represent Pivotel professionally at customer meetings, events and industry engagements
• Provide account updates and sales forecasting to management
• This role will require the individual to work autonomously as the role is predominantly a WFH role

The role combines customer relationship management, service delivery and business development support, with a strong focus on building the skills required for future progression within the Sales team.

What You’ll Bring to This Role

• Experience in customer service, sales administration, account coordination or another customer-facing role
• Strong relationship-building skills and a genuine customer-first mindset
• Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Confident written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• A willingness to learn and develop your commercial and account management skills
• The ability to work collaboratively across sales, technical and operational teams
• Telecommunications, Government, procurement or satellite communications experience would be advantageous, but is not essential
• Tertiary qualifications in areas such as engineering, sales, marketing or Government policy would be highly regarded
