About us:

Lotus Glen Health Service (LGHS) is a nurse lead primary health service that provides prisoners located at the Lotus Glen Correctional Centre (LGCC) and Lotus Glen Open Custody Farm. The Centre has a capacity to house approximately 976 prisoners and the farm accommodates 124 prisoners. The catchment area of the centre is state-wide, with a disproportionate representation from indigenous communities. Nursing cover is provided 24/7 with nursing staff responsible for patient assessment, minor treatment and patient transfers.

About your opportunity:

In this position you will…..

• Provide support to other staff on administrative issues and assist with the preparation of memorandums, reports and correspondence.
• Book and maintain specialist outpatient and telehealth appointments for inmates.
• Undertake archiving of files and records in accordance with legislative requirements.
• Ensure the principles and processes associated with the release of patient information to external health care providers demonstrated in accordance with confidentiality and information release policies.
