Welders & Forklift Operators

Our client is a leading manufacturer of cable support and infrastructure solutions. Due to an increase in workload, they are seeking multiple 2nd Class Welders and Yard Hands to join their workshop team in Acacia Ridge.

This is an excellent opportunity for welders and trade assistants with a forklift ticket looking to secure immediate work with a well-established company, offering consistent hours and the potential for long-term ongoing employment. 

• $36.00 - $42.00 per hour + penalties + super
• Immediate Start Available
• Monday - Friday 
• 2-3 Month Assignment with Potential for Ongoing Work
• Acacia Ridge Location

About the Role:

• Fabrication and welding of cable support systems and associated products
• Reading and interpreting workshop drawings
• MIG welding and general steel fabrication
• Operating workshop equipment and hand tools safely
• Forklift operaition and workshop management 
• Assisting with assembly and manufacturing processes
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Working as part of a collaborative workshop team to meet production deadlines

What We Are Looking For:

• Certified Welder 
• Trade assistant or yard hand with a forklift ticket 
• Minimum 6 months workshop welding and fabrication experience
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
