The Ant Hill Hotel is on the hunt for a Duty Manager to join the team in one of Far North Queensland’s unique rural pub destinations — located within driving distance of Cairns and surrounded by stunning scenery, local community culture and true country hospitality.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, thrives in fast-paced pub environments and wants to be part of a venue where no two days are the same.

About the Role
Working closely with the venue leadership team, you’ll help oversee day-to-day operations across the bar, gaming and customer experience while leading from the front during busy service periods.
What We’re Looking For
• Previous hospitality leadership experience within pubs, bars or gaming venues
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience leading teams during busy service periods
• Confident with cash handling, banking and end-of-night procedures
• Strong operational and compliance focus
• RLMV & Approved Managers License, RSA & RSG essential
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including days, nights and weekends
• Someone who enjoys country hospitality, live atmosphere and being part of the local community
