About the Role

We're looking for a enthusiastic Bakery Assistant to support both our back-of-house baking team and our front-of-house service crew. No experience? No problem. If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you.

Back-of-House Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, mixing, and assembling baked goods under the guidance of senior bakers
• Portion ingredients and keep all kitchen stations clean and well-stocked
• Label, pack, and display products
• Maintain high hygiene and food safety standards

Front-of-House Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and offer product recommendations
• Operate the POS system (training provided)
• Pack takeaway orders and manage front-of-house stock
• Keep the shop clean, tidy, and welcoming

Skills & Requirements

• Passion for food and a genuine interest in baking
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work early mornings and weekends
• Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet
• Experience in a bakery, café, or hospitality is a bonus — not essential
