Council owns and operates the Cobar Shire & TAFE Library, Great Cobar Museum, Lilliane Brady Village (aged care facility), Children's Services, Youth & Community Centre as well as works depots in Euabalong and Cobar.

ABOUT YOU
An experienced administrator, a proficient user across the Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to quickly and capably learn new software.
Organised, motivated, and continuously looking for ways to improve.
Possession of excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
Ability to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with colleagues, residents, and families.
Ability to adapt to new situations, show initiative, and positively respond to fluctuating workloads and interruptions.
We are looking for a compassionate, customer service focused individual with well-developed organisational skills to provide administrative support for the service. Our preferred candidate will be a team player with high attention to detail and problem-solving skills. You will be logical and solutions focused by nature, with excellent judgement and the maturity to deal with sensitive business matters.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Lilliane Brady Village, is a 44-bed residential aged care facility in far western NSW, owned and operated by Cobar Shire Council.
The Administration Officer will provide quality, professional, and efficient administrative support as well as exceptional customer service for and on behalf of Council. One of the key requirements for success in this role will be a flexible, 'do whatever is needed' attitude for this essential community service where resident care is the priority for all staff.
This full time role offers a commencing wage of $32.24/hour, working 38 hours a week, with a monthly rostered day off, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Local Government, Aged, Disability, and Home Care (State) Award.
