An exciting opportunity is available for a BI Reporting & Analytic Leader to lead the enterprise reporting outcomes from our Support Office in Pinkenba.

About the Role

This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for the delivery, quality, governance, and adoption of enterprise Power BI reporting across BGW Group.

Working closely with business stakeholders and the data platform and engineering teams, you will ensure reporting is clear, trusted, consistent, and focused on driving real business insight and value. This role is reporting‑centric, with responsibility for dashboards, KPIs, and stakeholder outcomes rather than underlying data engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end Power BI reporting lifecycle, from requirements through to production and adoption

• Lead the delivery of intuitive, performant dashboards aligned to business decision‑making

• Prioritise reporting initiatives based on business value and demand

• Establish and maintain reporting standards including visual design, KPI definitions, and documentation

• Manage Power BI workspaces, apps, security, and row‑level access

• Act as the primary point of contact for reporting demand and stakeholder engagement

• Drive Power BI adoption and data literacy through training and support

• Lead and mentor the reporting team, setting delivery expectations and quality standards

• Collaborate closely with data platform and engineering teams, consuming governed datasets and semantic models

• Continuously improve reporting usability, performance, and stakeholder satisfaction
  

About You

You’re an experienced Reporting or BI leader with strong Power BI expertise and a passion for delivering insights that matter.

Essential Experience

• Strong hands‑on experience delivering Power BI reports and dashboards

• Proven experience leading or managing a reporting or BI team

• Strong understanding of Power BI data modelling for reporting

• Experience with report performance optimisation and best‑practice visual design

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

• Ability to balance standardised enterprise reporting with self‑service needs
