Seamstress

Our client is a respected manufacturing company with more than 30 +years of experience delivering high-quality products across Australia. They have built an excellent reputation for quality craftmanship, long-term client relationships and looking after their people.

 Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Seamstress to join their team on a permanent basis.

About the Role

You’ll be sewing in a manufacturing warehouse located in the heart of Toongabbie – Western Sydney. Only a 5-minute walk from the train station. This is a stable, full-time role with consistent hours and a supportive manufacturing team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Sewing using industrial sewing machines (single needle, overlock, blind hem)

• Working from patterns

• Maintaining excellent quality

• Following daily duties so orders are completed on time

• Measure, cut and shape fabric, and other materials

• Operate sewing machines and equipment safely and efficiently for cutting, stitching

• Follow patterns and drawings to achieve results.

• Perform quality inspections to ensure finished products meet company standards.

• Maintain workshop cleanliness

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years’ experience using industrial sewing machines

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Good spoken English

• Experience sewing fabrics in a commercial or factory environment

• Well organised, reliable and able to manage your time

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work

• Basic understanding of materials

• Ability to perform minor repairs

What’s on Offer

• $77,500 (including superannuation)

• Monday to Friday 7.00am – 3.00pm

• Permanent full-time position
