McMahon Services is delivering major civil utilities works as part of one of South Australia's most significant infrastructure projects. With works underway and a long-term delivery program ahead, we are seeking experienced Civil Pipelayers to join our Civil & Infrastructure team.

This is an opportunity to work on a landmark Adelaide project delivering critical underground utilities infrastructure that will support the city's future growth. About the Role

As a Civil Pipelayer, you will play a key role in the installation of underground utilities infrastructure across a major civil utilities project. Working alongside experienced crews, supervisors and engineers, you will contribute to the safe and efficient delivery of water, sewer, stormwater and associated civil infrastructure works.

You will be involved in all aspects of pipeline installation, trenching and service construction activities, ensuring works are completed safely, accurately and to project specifications.

What You'll Do

• Install water, sewer, stormwater and associated underground utility infrastructure
• Perform pipelaying, trenching and associated civil construction activities
• Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and levels
• Assist with setting out, pipe alignment and grade control activities
• Use laser levels and survey information to achieve accurate installation outcomes
• Work safely around underground services and within trench excavation environments
• Assist with pipe laying, jointing, bedding and installation activities in accordance with project specifications
• Maintain strong safety, environmental and quality standards across all site activities

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience in civil utilities pipelaying and underground service installation
• Experience installing water, sewer and stormwater infrastructure
• Experience working around live services, trenching and excavation works
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans and levels
• Experience using laser levels and grade control equipment
• Current Driver's Licence and Construction White Card
• Strong understanding of safe work practices and working around underground services
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment and follow direction from supervisors and project personnel
• Ability to obtain required project and site clearances
