Office Administrator & Payroll Officer

We are a rapidly growing civil construction business with a strong pipeline of exciting projects. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated Administration and Payroll Officer to join our team and support our finance and administration functions.

This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to grow alongside a dynamic company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable & Receivable – Processing invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner

• Payroll – Assisting with weekly/fortnightly payroll processing and employee records

• General Administration – Supporting day-to-day office tasks and coordination

• Basic HR Support – Assisting with onboarding, employee records, and compliance

• Asset Management – Tracking and maintaining company assets and registers

• Record Keeping & Bookkeeping – Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation

About You:

• Qualification in Accounting, Finance, HR or a related field

• 2 years’ experience in a similar role (civil construction industry experience is a plus)

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good organisational and time management skills

• Basic understanding of accounting principles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) – knowledge of accounting software an advantage

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn – basic training will be provided

• Adaptive and able to work effectively in a fast-paced industry

• Ability to work well in a small, close-knit team
