About the role
We’re looking for a hands-on Male House Lead to oversee a SIL in Moe. This role a Permanent Part-Time role to allow for weekend work.

As House Lead you will take charge and support across the following key areas: 

• Lead, supervise, and coach staff members, ensuring they are providing high-quality support to residents.

• Provide direct support to participants, addressing their individual needs and preferences- set the example for your team

• Manage staff training, ongoing development, and performance management.

• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

• Work alongside internal stakeholders including housing, rostering, client services, and recruitment to ensure continuous improvement and operational excellence.

• Ensure your team is working together within a positive and supportive culture.

• Manage risk of incidents, respond to incidents as required, and implement best practice strategies to prevent re-occurrence.

• The House Lead will be the family and key stake holder liaison and will be accountable for the day to day running of the home.

Due to the participant's background, only Male House Lead Support Workers are required for this position. This is recognised as a genuine discrimination exemption and occupation qualification and is authorised under (Division 1, Section 24 (1) (a), (b) & (2) of the VICTORIA Equal Opportunity Act 2010).

About You

• Male House Lead Support Workers Only

• Minimum one year experience as a Team Leader/Manager in Supported Independent Living

• Experience in High Complex Care and Behaviours of Concern support.

• Experience with medication administration.

• Relevant qualification in disability or related field.

• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.

• Driver’s License and comfortable driving a Van

• NDIS Worker Screening Check

• Working With Children Check (Victoria)
