Bartender

Marion Wine Bar is a treasured Fitzroy wine bar and restaurant, with a food offering showcasing the best local produce and a passion for simple, high-quality dishes. Inspired by great wine bars around the world, Marion is the type of place you can stop for a snack; and stay for a meal.

We’re looking for a Bartender to join our team who is passionate about beverage, thrives in a busy service environment and enjoys being part of a team. This is a dynamic role where your home is behind the bar, but you’ll also be expected to jump onto the floor, run food and drinks, supporting the waiters and hosts, and get stuck in wherever needed to make service run smoothly.

What we need from you:

• Previous experience working behind a bar in a quality hospitality venue

• A working knowledge of classic cocktails, with an appreciation for amari, vermouth and spirits

• A genuine interest in wine and a thirst for knowledge

• An eye for detail and a commitment to continually developing your skills

• Warm, confident and engaging hospitality

• The ability to stay calm, organised and proactive in a busy service

• A team player who is happy to jump between bar and floor

• A genuine passion for delivering world-class hospitality
