ICT Business Development Manager

About the role

The ICT Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities relating to HuePay's digital payment platforms, payment technology and ICT-enabled financial services. The role combines ICT business development with technology solution engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, technology partners and internal product, technology, operations, risk and compliance teams to understand business and technical requirements and develop appropriate payment technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development strategies for digital payment platforms, payment technology services and ICT-enabled payment solutions.

• Identify prospective enterprise customers, target industries and market segments with digital payment, payment platform and technology integration requirements.

• Build and manage a pipeline of ICT business opportunities and maintain long-term relationships with enterprise customers and technology partners.

• Analyse customers' business processes, digital commerce models, payment infrastructure and technology requirements to identify appropriate solutions.

• Present and demonstrate HuePay's digital payment platforms, payment technology solutions and related ICT services to prospective customers and business partners.

• Translate customer business and technical requirements into structured solution requirements and coordinate with product and technology teams to assess appropriate solutions.

• Coordinate with internal technology and operations teams on payment platform integration, system connectivity, implementation requirements and solution deployment.

• Assist in preparing business proposals, technical solution documentation, commercial proposals, pricing and customer presentations.

• Support the implementation of payment technology solutions and coordinate the resolution of business, system integration and implementation issues.

• Conduct market and competitor research covering digital payments, fintech, payment technology, cross-border commerce and related ICT markets.

About you

• At least 3 years of professional experience in ICT business development, technology solutions, digital payments, fintech, payment platforms, software services or a related technology sector.

• Demonstrated experience identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities involving ICT products, technology platforms or digital solutions.

• Experience working with enterprise customers, technology partners or strategic commercial partners.

• Demonstrated ability to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into appropriate technology or ICT-enabled solutions.

• Strong understanding of digital platforms, software solutions, payment technology, system integration or related ICT services.

• Strong business development, negotiation, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong analytical, commercial and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to work effectively with product, technology, operations, risk and compliance teams.
