About the Role

Drummond Street Services, in partnership with Elizabeth Morgan House, delivers pre and post release services to eligible women and trans and gender diverse people exiting prison. Pre-release support is provided at Dame Phyllis Frost Centre and Tarrengower Prison, with post-release support delivered state-wide.

As the Program Support & Administration Worker, you will provide administrative and operational support to the Program Manager, Team Leader and broader Pre & Post Release team across DS and Elizabeth Morgan House.

The role will support the smooth delivery of the program through referral coordination, data management and reporting, meeting and operational support, stakeholder communication and other day-to-day administrative tasks. You will also have some limited contact with participants and stakeholders through phone and email enquiries.

Duties

• Provide administrative and operational support to the Program Manager, Team Leader and Pre & Post Release team across DS and Elizabeth Morgan House.
• Coordinate incoming referrals, including eligibility checks, data collection, allocations and caseload oversight.
• Maintain accurate program data across Salesforce and DJCS systems, and support data quality, auditing and quarterly reporting.
• Coordinate program administration, including brokerage requests, meetings, documentation and other day-to-day operational requirements.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, Tarrengower Prison, state-wide co-location sites and other program stakeholders.
• Respond to participant and stakeholder enquiries by phone and email, including providing limited referral support to participants in the community. 

Skills & Experience

• Relevant qualification in Health, Community Services, Business Administration or a related discipline, or equivalent experience, with at least two years’ administration experience, preferably in the community sector.
• Strong administration, organisation and information technology skills, including experience with CRM systems, data management and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience supporting program administration, reporting and financial or budget processes.
• Ability to work respectfully and effectively with people experiencing multiple and complex systemic barriers, including people involved with the justice system.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, work under pressure and respond with flexibility and resourcefulness.
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to work collaboratively, build relationships and contribute positively to a supportive multidisciplinary team, with a commitment to working with diverse communities.
