We are seeking an experienced and proactive Leading Hand to take charge of on-site operations, coordinating teams and ensuring that all project activities are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard.

Position Overview

This role is ideal for someone with a strong trade background and a passion for mentoring others while delivering quality outcomes in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise site activities to ensure timely project delivery

• Coordinate daily work plans as directed by management

• Provide hands-on leadership and technical support to site crews

• Enforce compliance with all safety procedures and SWMS

• Maintain high standards of workmanship in line with company and client expectations

• Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other trades

• Oversee equipment, materials, and site resources for optimal efficiency

• Ensure site cleanliness, organisation, and safety at all times.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Construction Industry White Card.

• Valid manual (Class C) driver’s licence (mandatory requirement)

• Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience in leading teams within a trade, building and/or construction environment.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience in cool room installation or similar trade

• Carpentry trade background.

• High Risk Licences (Forklift, Boomlift, Scissorlift/EWP).

• Working at Heights Certification.
