Depot Operations Officer

About the Role

An exciting opportunity awaits the right candidate. Monson Logistics is looking for a Depot Operations Officer to work closely with the operations team to accurately track containers as they come in and out of the depot. This position is based in our Bell Bay Office.

The role can be fast paced at times and would require someone that can work with a sense of urgency and focus. 

Some of the key responsibilities with this role are:

• Depot Container Control

• Border Force Bond reports

• DAFF Depot reports

• General office duties, including data entry

• Processing drivers paperwork and reports as required

• Liaising with freight partners and internal stake holders  

• Co-ordinating local & interstate freight deliveries

• Conflict resolution 

About You 

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Experience using Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel & Outlook)

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal 

• Good computer skills are necessary to work quickly and efficiently. 

• Good time management skills and ability to prioritise workload

• Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines

• Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol test

Note: Experience in the transport industry is desirable but not necessary as full on the job training is provided to the successful applicant
