Occupational Therapist

Emble Allied Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team.

As an established and evolving allied health organisation, we bring together Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Dietitians, Key Workers and Art Therapists to provide coordinated, evidence-informed supports that are shaped by the goals, strengths and everyday lives of the people we support.

This role is primarily focused on paediatric Occupational Therapy. While most of your work will involve supporting children and their families, there may also be opportunities over time to contribute to our young adult service, multidisciplinary assessment services, parent education, consultancy, group programs and emerging school partnerships as these areas continue to evolve.

Emble Allied Health is an allied health organisation supporting children, young people and families across Melbourne's north-east. Our purpose-built 700sqm clinic in Mill Park has been designed to support collaborative multidisciplinary practice, with dedicated therapy spaces, a sensory-motor gym, multipurpose therapy areas and shared environments that encourage clinicians to learn from one another. While our clinic serves as the hub of our practice, our clinicians also provide services within homes, education settings and the broader community according to the needs and goals of each family.

Our multidisciplinary team includes Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Dietitians, Key Workers and Art Therapists, alongside specialised feeding therapy and comprehensive multidisciplinary assessment services.

As an Occupational Therapist at Emble, you'll work alongside children, young people and their families to build capacity, increase participation and support meaningful outcomes in everyday life. You'll work collaboratively with families and the broader team to deliver evidence-informed, individualised services that reflect each person's strengths, goals and unique circumstances.

This role provides the opportunity to work with a varied paediatric caseload while developing your own clinical interests over time. As our organisation continues to evolve, there may also be opportunities to contribute to our young adult service, multidisciplinary assessment services, parent education, consultancy, group programs and emerging school partnerships.

Your role will include:

• Delivering Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention across clinic, home, education and community settings.

• Developing individualised therapy plans that reflect the goals, strengths and priorities of each child, young person and family.

• Working collaboratively with families, educators and other professionals to support participation across everyday environments.

• Completing high-quality clinical documentation, reports and funding-related documentation where required.

• Participating in multidisciplinary case discussions, supervision and ongoing professional development.

• Contributing to service development, clinical resources and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.

To be considered for this position, you'll have:

• A Bachelor or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

• A current Victorian Working with Children Check (Employee).

• A current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).

• A current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).

• A current Victorian Driver Licence and access to a reliable motor vehicle.
