The Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join AZZO and lead the successful delivery of complex energy, Power Control Systems, SCADA and related technology projects. In this role, you’ll manage projects across the full lifecycle, from planning and pre-contract activities through design, procurement, execution, commissioning and handover. You’ll bring together multidisciplinary teams, customers, suppliers and stakeholders to keep projects on track and ensure they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required technical and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Manage projects end-to-end, establishing clear scope, objectives, schedules, milestones, resource requirements and delivery priorities.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and other project activities to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Act as a key point of contact for customers and project stakeholders, providing clear communication on project progress, risks, decisions and required actions.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate internal and external resources to deliver against agreed project objectives.
• Support tendering and pre-contract activities, including estimates, delivery methodologies and commercial submissions.

Qualifications & Experience: 

• Significant experience managing complex, multidisciplinary projects, ideally within Power Control Systems, SCADA, energy, electrical or technology/engineering environments.
• Demonstrated experience delivering projects across the full lifecycle, from tender and contract award through to commissioning, handover and close-out.
• Strong commercial and contractual capability, including experience managing project budgets, forecasts, variations, claims, subcontractors and commercial risk.
• A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline is desirable.
• Formal Project Management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent is highly regarded.
