Casual Catering Delivery Drivers

Black Truffle Catering is seeking reliable and well-presented casual delivery drivers to join our Melbourne-based catering team.

This role is ideal for students or anyone who has set days each week when they are available to work. We are looking for dependable people who take pride in their work, manage their time well and pay close attention to detail.

As a Catering Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Checking and building catering orders accurately

• Loading and unloading delivery vans

• Delivering catering orders to offices, businesses and event locations

• Following delivery instructions and customer requirements

• Ensuring orders arrive safely, on time and in excellent condition

• Communicating respectfully and professionally with customers

• Keeping delivery vans clean, organised and presentable

Most of our customers are located in and around Melbourne’s CBD, so applicants must be confident and comfortable driving, parking and completing deliveries in the city.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be:

• Reliable, punctual and available on agreed days

• Well presented, polite and respectful

• An excellent time manager

• Highly attentive to detail

• Comfortable following written and verbal instructions

• Confident driving in Melbourne’s CBD and surrounding suburbs

• Physically capable of loading and unloading catering equipment and food orders

• Able to work independently while supporting the wider delivery and catering team

Previous delivery or hospitality experience is helpful but not essential. Full training will be provided to the right applicants.

• A current Australian driver licence

• A safe and responsible driving record

• The right to work in Australia

• Regular availability on nominated weekdays

• Availability for early-morning and daytime shifts

This is a casual position with shifts based on business requirements and your nominated availability.
