Client Acquisition Coordinator – Part Time / Remote

About the role

This is a fully remote, part-time Client Acquisition Coordinator role for a small Australian business operating in the sports wagering industry. You will work approximately 8–12 hours per week with very flexible working hours. The main responsibility is to find, engage and onboard new clients for the business. A purpose-built system manages the onboarding process, tracks leads, follow-ups, documentation and progress. This is not a traditional call-centre role. You will have considerable freedom to test different acquisition methods, build referral networks and determine which channels work best.

Key responsibilities

• Find and generate new client leads

• Contact and speak with potential clients

• Explain the client program clearly

• Screen potential clients for suitability

• Guide suitable clients through the onboarding process

• Follow up leads and keep the acquisition pipeline organised

• Develop and test new ways of finding clients

• Record activity and results in internal software

• Gradually take ownership of the client acquisition function

• Confident speaking with new people

• Proactive and self-motivated

• Comfortable working independently and remotely

• Organised and reliable

• Good at following up

• Able to think creatively about where and how to find people

• Comfortable being given an objective rather than needing detailed instructions for every task

• Previous experience in recruitment, sales, business development, lead generation or customer service would be useful but is not essential

• No previous sports wagering experience is required
