Medical Receptionist and a Dentist ( Two Vacancies)

About the role

We are seeking a friendly, organised and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our busy medical practice. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play an important role in providing a welcoming, professional and efficient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and manage front-desk enquiries

• Schedule and manage appointments, phone calls and patient enquiries

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records

• Process payments, accounts and outstanding balances

• Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and documents

• Assist with stock control and maintain an organised reception area

• Liaise with doctors and team members regarding appointments and urgent patient needs

• Provide general administrative support to the practice

About you

• Previous Medical Receptionist experience preferred

• Experience with Best Practice (BP) and/or MedicalDirector (MD)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Confident computer skills, including Microsoft Office

• Able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Friendly, professional and reliable with excellent interpersonal skills

• Understanding of patient confidentiality and privacy

We are seeking a friendly, professional and experienced Dentist to join our established practice, working flexible days

• Provide a broad range of general dental treatments

• Develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs

• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation

• Educate patients on oral health and preventative care

• Work collaboratively with our dental assistants, reception team and other clinicians

• Deliver a high standard of clinical care and patient experience

• Current AHPRA registration

• Appropriate professional indemnity insurance

• Excellent clinical, communication and interpersonal skills

• Patient-focused with a friendly and professional manner

• Reliable, organised and able to work independently

• Strong commitment to quality dentistry and patient care

• Experience with dental practice management software is advantageous
