The Australian Institute of Architects is the peak body for the architectural profession in Australia, representing about 14,000 members across Australia and overseas. We work to improve the built environment by promoting quality, responsible and sustainable design.

About the Role

We are looking for a Program Manager, Education to lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of a national continuing professional development (CPD) program for architects and built environment professionals.

This role will suit someone who can bring structure, quality and fresh thinking to education program delivery. You will work closely with the Head of Education and Acumen, the Education team, state and territory chapters, members, education providers and industry partners to create relevant, high-quality learning experiences.

This is a Melbourne based role.

What You'll Do:

• Design and deliver a cohesive national CPD program aligned to member needs and organisational priorities.

• Strengthen the quality, consistency and impact of education content and learning resources.

• Build relationships with educational institutions, professional bodies, facilitators and subject matter experts.

• Use feedback, data and evaluation to improve programs and member outcomes.

• Manage education projects from planning through to delivery, including timelines, budgets and stakeholder updates.

• Support innovation in education delivery, including new formats, technologies and partnerships.

What You'll Bring:

• Experience in education, CPD, learning and development, vocational or tertiary education, ideally with exposure to the built environment.

• An understanding of adult learning, instructional design and program evaluation.

• The ability to turn ideas into practical program plans with clear outcomes.

• Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with external partners.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Postgraduate qualifications in education, instructional design or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
