Chefs | Mr Wong, Mumu & Queen Chow

The Venues

We're looking for passionate chefs to join some of Merivale's most exciting Asian restaurants across Sydney - Mr Wong, MuMu and Queen Chow Enmore.

Each venue brings its own take on Asian cuisine, from the Cantonese classics and dim sum of Mr Wong, to the bold, contemporary flavours of MuMu and the Chinese-inspired cooking of Queen Chow Enmore.

Across the three venues, you'll have the opportunity to work with experienced culinary teams, develop your skills across different Asian cooking techniques and work in some of Sydney's most recognised restaurants.

The Role

We're looking for Commis Chefs, Demi Chefs and Chef de Parties to join our teams on a full-time or casual basis.

You'll work closely with experienced senior chefs to deliver high-quality food with a strong focus on flavour, technique, consistency and presentation.

We're particularly interested in chefs with experience across Asian cuisines and cooking techniques, whether that's Cantonese, Chinese, Southeast Asian or broader Asian cuisine.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have professional kitchen experience, ideally within a high-end restaurant environment.
• Have a genuine passion for Asian cuisine and cooking techniques.
• Have experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
• Bring experience with Asian cooking techniques such as wok, roasting, grilling, steaming or other specialist methods.
• Be adaptable and comfortable working across different menus and kitchen sections.
• Have a strong focus on quality, consistency and attention to detail.
• Be confident working as part of a team and communicating with senior chefs.
• Be passionate about developing your skills and progressing your career.
