Organization and Methods Analyst

About the role

The Organisation and Methods Analyst is a key player in driving operational efficiency and fostering continuous process improvement within an organisation. The primary goal is to optimise workflows, reduce operational inefficiencies, and enhance the overall structure of the company. This role requires a deep understanding of organisational structures, methods, systems, and procedures. The analyst will collaborate closely with various departments, from administrative to executive levels, to ensure that the organisation runs smoothly and effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth reviews and evaluations of current systems, procedures, and workflows to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Propose actionable plans to revise, alter, and enhance organizational methods, aiming to improve resource allocation and overall performance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement improvements.
• Facilitate communication and coordination between departments to ensure seamless process changes.
• Assist in the roll-out of new systems, including drafting procedural manuals, revising instructions, and ensuring all team members are trained on new processes.
• Continually assess the effectiveness of newly implemented procedures and systems, using data to refine and enhance operations.
• Ensure that all processes adhere to organisational standards and industry regulations.
• Provide ongoing guidance and support to staff to ensure the effective adoption of new methods and procedures.
• Undertake and review work studies by analysing existing and proposed methods and procedures such as administrative and clerical procedures.
• Record and analyse organisations' workflow charts, records, reports, manuals and job descriptions, and provide reports to Stakeholders for decision making.

About you

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering with solid background in analysis, process mapping, process improvements and optimisation/automation.
• Experience with process optimisation methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Excellent project management skills (Kanban, MS Project or Canvas).
• Proficiency in process mapping tools and statistical analysis software (e.g., Excel, SQL).
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
