We primarily care for dogs and cats, along with the occasional pocket pet, and see a varied caseload that provides exposure to a broad range of medical, surgical, and dental cases.

About the Role

As a Veterinary Nurse, you'll be involved in all aspects of patient care and clinic operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting veterinarians during consultations, diagnostics, treatments, and proceduresSurgical preparation and theatre assistanceMonitoring anaesthesia and supporting patient recoveryMedical nursing and hospital patient careCollecting pathology samples and performing diagnostic testingAdministering medications and treatmentsDental nursing and dental radiography assistanceClient communication and educationMaintaining accurate patient recordsSupporting the delivery of exceptional patient careContributing to a positive and efficient clinic environmentYou'll work on a rotating roster, including shared weekend shifts, allowing exposure to a wide variety of nursing duties and clinical experiences.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent qualification)Has previous clinical veterinary nursing experience (1+ years preferred)Is confident across both medical and surgical nursingHas strong anaesthetic monitoring skillsDemonstrates excellent attention to detailCan effectively prioritise and manage competing tasksIs reliable, accountable, and professionalWorks well both independently and within a teamHas excellent communication and customer service skillsBuilds rapport easily with clients and colleaguesIs passionate about animal welfare and patient advocacyMost importantly, you're someone who enjoys being part of a team and takes pride in delivering exceptional care every day.
