Base salary circa $68,000+, (with flexibility for the right candidate based on experience), + Super + Monthly Bonus

POP MART is a global pop-culture and designer-toy brand with 550+ stores and 2,300 Robo Shops across 30+ countries.

As we continue to expand across Australia and New Zealand, we're looking for a passionate and people-focused Assistant Store Manager to join our growing retail team. Immediate start available in our existing store, allowing plenty of time to train ahead of our brand-new location opening in Chadston in November.

Lead & Develop the Team

• Coach, motivate and develop team members (large team up, to 18 people)

• Support recruitment, onboarding and training activities

• Provide ongoing feedback and performance support

• Help build a positive and high-performing team culture

Drive Commercial Results

• Support achievement of sales targets and KPIs

• Analyse store performance and identify opportunities for improvement

• Create a customer-focused and sales-driven environment

Support Store Operations

• Assist with roster planning and workforce management

• Maintain inventory accuracy and store presentation standards

• Ensure policies, procedures and compliance requirements are met

• Support product launches, promotional events and peak trading periods

• An experienced Assistant Store Manager, Supervisor or 2IC

• Passionate about customer experience and team development

• Confident coaching and leading others

• Commercially aware and KPI focused

• Organised, adaptable and solutions focused

• Comfortable working in fast-paced retail environments

• Demonstrated experience with inventory management, daily cycle counts, stocktakes

• Flexible availability across all 7 days is required.

• Typical rosters include weekends, late-night trading and public holidays.

• We aim to provide structured rosters with two consecutive days off in a standard week, supporting work-life balance and roster consistency.

• While rosters are planned in advance, flexibility to support business needs, peak trading periods and major product launches is expected.

• Availability throughout peak trading periods, including November to January, is essential.
