At Sims, safety is more than policies and procedures. It's about protecting people, driving operational excellence, and creating a culture where everyone takes responsibility for working safely.
We're seeking an experienced and proactive WHS Advisor to join our team based in St Marys. In this role, you'll support multiple operations across New South Wales, partnering with leaders and frontline employees to identify risks, improve safety performance, and ensure compliance with environmental and workplace health and safety requirements.
This position is primarily office-based, with regular travel to operational sites across NSW. Flexibility is important, as occasional short-notice travel may be required in response to incidents or operational needs.
About the roleReporting into the EHS function, you will provide expert advice and support across a highly industrial operating environment. You'll play a key role in fostering a strong safety culture, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring environmental and safety risks are effectively managed.
We're looking for a hands-on safety professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment and enjoys building strong relationships across multiple sites.
