Role Description The Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing SEO strategies to increase organic visibility and drive qualified traffic. Day-to-day tasks include conducting SEO audits, performing keyword research, managing link-building initiatives, and monitoring performance using web analytics tools. The role involves collaborating with content, marketing, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across websites and digital campaigns. The SEO Manager will analyze data, prepare performance reports, recommend technical and content improvements, and stay current with search engine algorithm updates and industry trends.
Qualifications Ability to conduct comprehensive SEO Audits and identify technical, on-page, and off-page optimization opportunities.Strong skills in Keyword Research and search intent analysis to guide content and site architecture.Experience with Link Building strategies, including outreach, partnership development, and backlink quality assessment.Proficiency in Web Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, tag managers) to interpret data and measure SEO performance.Understanding of Marketing fundamentals and how SEO integrates with broader digital marketing and content strategies.Experience with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog) and basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and technical SEO concepts.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a remote, cross-functional team environment.Prior experience in an SEO Manager or similar role; a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field is beneficial.
