NHS Trade is looking for a motivated and reliable Trade Counter Sales team member to support our branches across Lambton, Cardiff and Beresfield.

What does a Trade Counter Sales do at NHS?

This is a busy, customer-facing role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems and being part of a fast-paced trade environment.

You’ll be the face of NHS when customers come into the branch, providing helpful product advice, processing sales and orders, and helping ensure every customer receives practical, reliable service.

As a floating team member, you’ll support our Lambton, Cardiff and Beresfield branches as required, working with a variety of customers, products and teams.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Assisting customers with product advice and sales
• Processing quotes, orders and payments
• Following up customer orders and enquiries
• Supporting stock control and stocktakes
• Maintaining product displays and merchandising standards
• Working closely with yard, warehouse and delivery teams
• Helping customers load products safely when required
• Keeping the work area clean, organised and safe

We’re seeking someone who:

• Is flexible and enjoys working across different branch locations
• Enjoys helping customers and providing great service
• Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Is reliable, punctual and dependable
• Communicates confidently with customers and colleagues
• Comfortable learning new products and systems
• Works well in a team environment
• Holds a current NSW Driver Licence (Provisional or above)

Previous experience in customer service, trade sales, building supplies or the construction industry is advantageous but not essential. A forklift licence is also desirable. We value attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn.
