As a Senior Business Analyst - Payments, you will play a critical role in shaping & delivering a new payments platform, working across business, technology & operations to drive meaningful change. Acting as the glue between stakeholders, product teams & delivery partners, you will lead complex analysis activities, facilitate strategic discussions & ensure business needs are translated into practical, scalable solutions.
This is a highly visible role within our Chief Product Office department requires strong payments expertise, exceptional stakeholder management skills & the ability to navigate complex delivery environments while influencing outcomes at all levels of the organisation.
This is a fixed-term contract, with possibility to convert to extend or convert to permanent.
Top Role Accountabilities & ResponsibilitiesPartner with Product Owners/Leads to shape initiatives, define scope, & align outcomes to product strategy & business objectivesLead complex business analysis activities across multiple initiatives, ensuring clear problem definition, value, & success measuresEngage stakeholders to identify, analyse, & validate business needs strategic requirementsFacilitate workshops & collaboration across business & technology teams to drive alignment & decision-makingConduct discovery & impact assessments, including process, regulatory, customer, & market analysisAnalyse & document current & future state processes, customer journeys, requirements, user stories, & business impactsSupport the design & evaluation of solutions that balance customer, business, & technical needsContribute to target operating model design, solution delivery, testing, & business acceptance activitiesSupport change implementation through process documentation, training, & adoption activitiesManage risks, issues, dependencies, & requirements traceability throughout the initiative lifecycle
To be successful in this role, you will bring:Proven experience as a business focussed Senior Business Analyst in banking or financial servicesProven experience working on payments projectsWorking knowledge of Temenos highly regardedDemonstrated ability to lead analysis workstreams & operate independently in complex delivery environmentsStrong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at senior levelsAn ability to translate customer insights into clear business opportunities & structured requirementsStrong analytical, facilitation, & storytelling capabilityExperience working in agile environmentsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical & non-technical audiencesA confident, collaborative mindset, with the ability to challenge constructively & drive better outcomes
