701 Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Retaining Wall Labourer to join an established earthmoving crew working across civil and subdivision projects.
 
About the Role
 
You'll be working alongside an excavator operator, assisting with the installation of concrete sleeper retaining walls. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who knows how retaining wall sleepers are positioned, guided and installed.
 
Key duties include:

• Assisting the operator with retaining wall installation
• Guiding and lowering concrete sleepers into position
• Helping with site setup and preparation
• Assisting with positioning and alignment of sleepers
• General civil labouring duties as required

Important: There is no concreting involved. Concrete sleepers are the material being installed — your main role is assisting the operator with setup, guiding and positioning.
 
What We're Looking For

• Previous experience with concrete sleeper retaining walls
• Timber retaining wall experience will also be considered
• Civil construction/labouring experience
• Comfortable working around excavators and heavy machinery
• Good understanding of site safety
• White Card
• Reliable and physically fit
