About the Role

Due to continued growth and the award of new projects, PIC is seeking experienced Innershield Welders with tank construction experience to join our team on an exciting upcoming project in the Goldfields region of WA.

The project involves the supply and installation of tanks onsite, with work expected to continue through to the end of February 2027. Potential to transition onto other PIC projects following completion.

• Location: Goldfields, WA

• Roster: FIFO Perth | 2:1

• Project duration: Through to the end of February 2027

• Mobilisation dates:

  • Crew 1 – Friday, 28 August

  • Crew 2 – Friday, 4 September

  • Crew 3 – Friday, 11 September

• FIFO: Perth

• Meals and camp accommodation provided

• PIP and completion bonus

• Potential for ongoing work on future PIC projects

Key Responsibilities

• Innershield / FCAW welding and assembly of structural steel and tanks

• Working to project specifications, drawings and quality requirements

• Maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality

• Working effectively as part of a site-based construction crew

About You

To be successful, you will have:

• Proven experience with Innershield / FCAW welding

• Experience welding heavy structural steel and tanks

• Relevant welding qualifications and certifications

• Construction White Card

• Ability to successfully complete a weld test and pre-employment medical

• Strong safety focus and the ability to work effectively in remote site conditions

Highly Desirable

• Previous tank construction experience

• Valid Australian Driver's Licence

• Working at Heights and EWP tickets

• Current VOCs / tickets, preferably issued within the last 3 years

• National Police Clearance issued within the last 12 months
